Mass Finishing refers to various processes for the surface treatment of mainly metallic workpieces. These are transferred in bulk into a container together with abrasive agents and mostly with the addition of an additive (compound) in aqueous solution. Through an oscillating or rotating movement of the working container, a relative movement is produced between the various parts, which causes material ablation on the workpieces, in particular at the edges thereof. The surface appearance of the workpieces as well as the roughness, material ablation and deburring can be varied almost arbitrarily by means of various processes, machines, tools (abrasive agents and compounds) and parameters.
In an in-house fully equipped laboratory, Forplan cater for customer requirements with pinpoint accuracy by using different machines and applying a wide range of process technologies. By combining machine type and size, abrasive agents and compounds, each process is worked out and optimised.
When selling a machine, Forplan distinguishes itself in that the wishes of its customers are catered for to a large extent. This is why customer support is a key concern even after finalising a purchase.
